Yet another weekend of waiting...

The most boring part about building a house is the part happening right now. There is not much going on for us to see and talk about, everything is happening behind the scenes in the factory. And we keep waiting in anticipation for the month of June when our house will arrive at the site.

This weekend is no different. It is better during the week when we all are busy with work and school activities. But the start of weekend, which is already very lazy, gets even more boring when the weather outside is dull and rainy.
Ana was lucky to skip the boring part today. She works as a freelance cook until she completes her course to become a professional chef. And today she got a call to work at a restaurant. So Ana was like...

She left for work and I was left with the most challenging task in the world, handling the kids. To say the least, my feeling was like...

I needed some indoor activity to keep the kids busy and survive the rest of the day.
That's where the technology comes into picture. I sincerely thank Google, Microsoft, Sony corp. and other tech giants to provide us the means of keeping the kids involved in some activity to keep them busy. Without these things I would have lost the little bit of sanity that is still left in me.
So it was Playstation to the rescue. It is so amazing how this little box of electronics can keep the little devils err... humans engaged. And it is even more amazing that how these little kids, without any kind previous knowledge, manage to use these gadgets so well.
First up was Minecraft. This game is so creative. Our older son Aryan can spend hours in this virtual world building his own world.

Then it was a driving simulator game called "Burnout Paradise". Thank God people don't drive like this in real world. Right... Right??

The good thing about these gadgets is that one can use them anywhere... literally. The little one Linus keeps himself busy while "downloading"... if you know what I mean? ;) (BTW, this pic is not from today).

After some gaming, it was time to show some love to the fifth member of our family, Chilli. She is very cute and adorable and not as messy and demanding as the kids.

After some hours of gaming and indoor activities, the kids were hungry. It was time for lunch. My cooking skills are as bad as Aryan's driving in the Burnout game above. So without taking any risks to prove my cooking skills, me and the kids agreed that it is better to eat out for the well being of our stomachs.

So that's all for today... over and out!
